The IGT classification covers the economical wines. Because there are fewer restrictions and more wine regions allowed for production, the IGT-classified wines are known to be less expensive. The grape ratios are also not regulated; hence, more IGT-classified wines are available.
And the last one is the table wine classification. Table wines are the most consumed in Italy. This classification has the expensive and low-priced wines. Alcohol content and production methods are not severely enforced and controlled.
